Days before the film's release, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara’s co-star Sanjana Sanghi talks about how the late actor was on the sets and reveals he was always present and giving
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Dil Bechara is set to release in just a few days now. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, and his heartbroken fans are waiting for the film to release. It was recently after Sushant’s demise that the trailer of the film released and received immense love and appreciation. Now, days before the film release, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara’s co-star Sanjana Sanghi talks about how the late actor was on the sets. The debutant reveals he was always present and giving.
When asked if she knew about any issues Sushant Singh Rajput was dealing with or did she ever feel anything, during an interview with Pinkvilla, Sanjana Sanghi opened up about it. The actress said, “I met Sushant on Dil Bechara right. I didn’t know him in 2016, I didn’t know him before Dil Bechara, so for me, the only Sushant I knew was the Sushant I met.” The actress then continued, “So whether he was quiet, whether he was jovial, whether he was focused, whether he was not, for me that was the parameter.”
Moving on, Sanjana Sanghi went on to explain that she never felt anything was wrong with Sushant because he was always present and always giving. She continued, “So, my mind also did not go on, because he was always present, always giving, always like you’ve seen the film, you’ve seen the trailer, you can tell that that’s not the actor whose mind is elsewhere, he’s all there.” The actress then added, “So for me, I saw a person, an artist, who’s as passionate as can be and totally committed to his job and also supportive and also collaborative, so there was no scope for me to even think anything else.”
Meanwhile, Sanjana Sanghi marks her acting debut with Dil Bechara, whereas the film will also mark director Mukesh Chhabra’s debut. Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan and is scheduled for a digital premiere on July 24, 2020, on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.
